U.S. New & World Report ran a cover story entitled, Waiting for the Messiah, (December 19, 1994),in which The Temple Institute featured prominently. We were noted for our work toward actively pursuing the building of the Third Temple, as well as our efforts to raise a herd with a high propensity for red heifers. We especially enjoyed the box comparing our efforts to the recent sighting of the white buffalo, a tradition anong the Native Americans of the great plains, likewise concerned with the redemption of mankind.
