The Temple Institute and its affiliate, the Yeshivat Beit HaBechira Institute of Study, and all of Israel, mourn the tragic death of the holy Rabbi Yaakov Dickstein, together with his wife and child.

Rabbi Dickstein, 44, a senior teacher and beloved spiritual mentor in our academy, was brutally murdered by Palestinian terrorists, together with his wife, Hannah, 42, and their son, 9 year old Shuvel Tzion, minutes before Shabbat, on 17 Av, Friday, July 26th, 2002. Two other sons were also wounded.

Rabbi and Mrs. Dickstein were the parents of 10 children.

May the memory of the righteous be a blessing, and may G-d avenge their blood.
