The Supreme Court denied a petition on Thursday night that would have allowed Jews on the Temple Mount Friday and Shabbat.
Chairman Yehudah Glick of the Temple Mount Human-Rights Organization, which filed the petition, said in response, "Before my eyes stood one central thing, the profaning of G-d's name in that during the seven days of Sukkot, when we are commanded to be seen before the Lord in the place that He will choose, the Temple Mount is closed to Jews, following Muslim violence."
