Revava: We Will Return to the Temple Mount Next Month
reprinted from Arutz Sheva (IsraelNN.com) Chairman of the Revava organization, David HaIvri has announced plans to again attempt to pray on the Temple Mount next month,on the first day of the Jewish month of Iyar. "Israel's police have given in to the threat of Arab terror and prevented thousands of Jews from arriving at the Temple Mount to pray on Rosh Chodesh (the first day of the Jewish month)," HaIvri said. "Next Rosh Chodesh we will return." HaIvri himself was arrested today upon entering Jerusalem's Old City. Buses of worshippers from all over the country were also prevented from entering the area. Visibly religious Jews (sporting beards or large skullcaps) were turned away at the entrances of the Western Wall plaza throughout the day as well. |
