PA Asks Arab States to Cut Ties With Israel Over Dig
|
|
reprinted from Arutz 7 (IsraelNN.com) The Palestinian Authority is using the controversy over archaeological and repair work on a footbridge leading to the Temple Mount to convince Arab states to cut their ties with Israel. The Hamas-led Palestinian Legislative Council called on Arab states that have diplomatic relations with Israel - such as Jordan and Egypt - to "several diplomatic and economic ties and not establish new ones." The PLC also implied in an appeal to the United Nations Security Council that Israel is not safeguarding Islamic and Christian sites in the capital city. |
