Over 1,000 Jews Visited the Temple Mount During Tishrei
|
|
reprinted with permission from Arutz 7 (IsraelNN.com) Over 1,000 Jews during the Hebrew month of Tishrei visited the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, doing so in compliance with law governing one visiting the Holy Mount. Temple Mount activists however lament the reality that Israeli authorities, in compliance with Muslim Waqf dictate, compelled visitors to enter the Mount without any external signs of their Jewishness. The month of Tishrei coincided with September. The month includes the holidays of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot. |
