Salah: Jews Planning to Build a Temple
|
|
reprinted from Arutz 7 (IsraelNN.com) Sheikh Raed Salah, the head of the radical Islamic Movement's northern branch, said Thursday that Israel was planning to build a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. Salah called on all Arab and Muslim countries to prevent Israel from "dividing the Al Aksa mosque between Muslims and Jews" and building an Òimaginary" Temple. Salah also denounced Israel for allowing Jewish groups to visit the Temple Mount. He claimed the groups prayed and conducted religious ceremonies on the Mount, although the Muslim Waqf that administrates the area forbids Jewish prayer, and police have removed Jews who attempted to pray while touring the Mount. Salah has previously been arrested for incitement, and has accused Israel of attempting to destroy Al Aksa mosque. |
