"Moses came and told the people all of God's words and all the laws. The people all responded with a single voice, 'We will keep every word that God has spoken.' Moses wrote down all of God's words. He got up early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, along with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel." (Exodus 24:3-7)
