In the Chamber of Vessels, the various vessels used in the Temple service were stored. The Mishna describes ninety three types of vessels made of silver and gold. Anyone who wished to donate a vessel to the Mikdash would bring the vessel to another section of this chamber. Once a month, the treasurers would inspect the vessels that were donated. The vessels that were needed were kept, and those that were not needed were sold, the proceeds used for Temple necessities.
