The Golden Grape Vines & Crowns

At the entrance to the Heichal, the "golden grapevine" was hung on wooden planks. When an individual donated gold for use in the Mikdash, his donation would be fashioned into the shape of a leaf or cluster and these were hung at the entrance to the Heichal. Two decorative gold crowns were placed in the two small windows above the entrance to the Kodesh.
