Agenda in hand, Time Magazine returned in October 2000, weeks after the Palestinian terror offensive was launched against Israel. Time Magazine, as did much of the international media, used all the tricks of the journalistic trade to try to depict Israel as the villian. Showing pictures of Mohammed Dura, (the Palestinian boy killed, most likely by Palestinian gunmen, in the first days of the Palestinain attacks, and who had already become a poster-boy for the Palestinian "cause"), alongside pictures of the Temple Mount, where Ariel Sharon had recently visited the site where the Holy Temple stood, Time fervently tried to create an impression that Jewish extremism had somehow provoked the murderous Palestinian onslaught.

It seems that once a journalist has a story to tell, no amount of facts can set him straight.
