Friday evening marks follow-up to day of clashes between security forces and rioters protesting Gaza op as molotov cocktails, stones are thrown

by Efrat Weiss

Violent incidents continued throughout Friday in Jerusalem as protestors against the military operation in Gaza clashed with security forces in the capital.

Prayer services at Temple Mount came to an end Friday afternoon amid the rioting of hundreds of Arabs that clashed with the numerous police officers on the scene. Police were on high alert and were ordered to expect the violent clashes, in which one officer was lightly injured.

In addition, a large anti-IDF protest is expected to take place Saturday in the northern city of Sakhnin. Northern District Police are preparing for the event and according to customary procedure will gather outside the city to police its borders.
