Temple Mount Prayers Restricted to Muslim Men Age 45+

reprinted with permission from Arutz Sheva
20:45 Feb 16, '06 / 18 Shevat 5766

(IsraelNN.com) Only Muslim men over age 45 and carrying blue identity cards will be allowed to pray at the Temple Mount on Friday. The move comes in the wake of intelligence reports that disruptions are planned for the end of prayers.

Female worshippers will be allowed with no limits on age.

There will be more police than usual around the Temple Mount, throughout the alleys of the Old City and in the areas of east Jerusalem.
