Group to Franco: Open Temple Mount to Jews Now

reprinted from Arutz 7

The Organization for Human Rights on the Temple Mount has written a sharp letter to Jerusalem Police Chief Aaron Franco demanding he immediately open the Temple Mount to Jews. The organization says that if Jews are not permitted to go up to the Mount by Thursday, it will appeal to the Supreme Court.

The police have forbidden Jewish access to the Mount, Judaismís holiest site, since Arab riots on Sunday. The Sukkot holiday is traditionally one of two annual periods when Jews from all over Israel would visit the Temple.
