reprinted from Arutz Sheva
13:52 May 09, '05 / 30 Nisan 5765

(IsraelNN.com) Arab youths throwing stones lightly wounded seven police officers, including Jerusalem district commander Ilan Franco, in a riot that broke out near the Muslim entry to the Temple Mount.

Police responded by throwing a stun grenade at the rioters.

According to reports, the riots were prompted by rumors that the Revava organization had planned to bring Jewish worshippers onto the Temple Mount for prayer.
