Jerusalem Police on Alert

reprinted from Arutz 7
Tevet 20, 5769, 16 January 09 08:40

Jerusalem police are on alert on Friday due to the possibility that tempers will flare following Friday morning Muslim prayers throughout the city. Several violent riots have taken place in the city since the Cast Lead operation in Gaza began more than two weeks ago.

In order to avoid violence in the Old City, entrance to Muslim prayers on the Temple Mount will be limited. Men will be allowed to attend the prayers only if they are 45 years of age or older and hold an Israeli ID card.
