3,000 Join Monthly March Around Old Jerusalem Walls

reprinted from Arutz 7
1 Nisan 5767, March 20, '07

(IsraelNN.com) The ranks of those who march at the beginning of each Hebrew month around the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem swelled to some 3,000 people Monday night.

Two months ago, a record 5,000 people joined the march to show support for Israel in the face of Islamic violence sparked by repair work being carried out on a footbridge leading from the Rambam (Mughrabi) Gate to the Temple Mount.

Last month's march was cancelled by Jerusalem authorities in the wake of the record showing.
