Arabs Arrested for Disrupting Jerusalem Encircling Ceremony

reprinted from Arutz 7
04:32 Nov 21, '06 / 30 Cheshvan 5767

(IsraelNN.com) Jerusalem police on Monday night arrested three Arabs in the so-called Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City. The three hurled fireworks into the crowd taking part in the monthly encirclement of the Old City gates on the eve of Rosh Chodesh, the new Jewish month.

The monthly event is a renewal of the custom which was observed during biblical times.

There were no reports of injuries as a result of the incident.
