Police Won't Allow Demonstrations on Temple Mount

reprinted from Arutz Sheva
15:12 Mar 22, '05 / 11 Adar 5765

The Jerusalem Police have informed the responsible officials at the Wakf, the Arab administrating body of the Temple Mount, that they will not allow Jewish demonstrations on the Temple Mount against the looming expulsion of the Jews from the Gaza Strip and the Jenin area.

Jewish leaders and rabbis recently have proposed the organization of pilgrimages to the site yet, according to police, no more than the usual amounts of Jews, around several dozen, will be allowed up at a time. Police will act against anyone who attempts to interfere with this quota.
