Report: Temple Mount Disorder Tied to Site's Status

reposted from Arutz 7
Adar 25, 5774, 25/02/14

Agence France Presse cited Israel Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld as saying that there was "high tension" on Jerusalem's Temple Mount, ahead of what AFP called "discussions in the Israeli parliament later Tuesday of a plan to annex the site considered holy by Muslims, Christians and Jews."

Police arrested three Muslims from a group of dozens who threw rocks and firecrackers at police as they opened an entrance to the site. Other police dispersed the Arabs using stun grenades. Two officers were hospitalized with wounds from the attack. The site remained open to tourists and police remained on the scene.
